Just for anyone who might be living in a hole in the ground, the new geforce launched at comdex this weekend. There is plenty of info and demo stuff at http://www.nvidia.com. No specifics yet on iterations of the gpu or availability |

Hi, am new to the forum, this is my 1st post. Just thought id give a warning about all the hype. The new card will not support 3d-glasses with current drivers, unless they release new stereo drivers with the card. Am hardcore gamer, and always buy the 1st card that comes out. Take it from some1 with experience. Let the hype die down, wait till there is decent support for 3d-glasses with the new card, and check if the improvement is big, compared to the older cards before you buy. -- RAGEdemon |

It ain't launching nomore!! http://www.megarad.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1271&mode=flat&order=0&thold=-1 So we'll all be stuck with old video cards, unless ATI decides to stop ignoring stereo users. |

###So we'll all be stuck with old video cards, Who needs $600 vga-boards which are just a few percent faster than $200 boards and stay on top for just 3 month or so? This is just a plot by both companies to steal the money from some rich kids. ###unless ATI decides to stop ignoring stereo users. The users are ignoring stereo! That's the problem. There's not enough economic pressure to support stereo. Christoph |
