Anyone have one of these to try out the genlock/framelock functions? As I recall, this was the major complaint of dual output stereo attempts. |

Yes. It is true but only for Quadro FX2000 and no other model. According the price of Quadro FX 2000 witch is comparable to Wildcats (witch have this future for a long time well implemented) it does not shift the acceptance of this solution to no direction :-(. |

AFAIR More-3d (www.more3d.com) claims it isn't needed a genlocked graphic board for stereo. I don't know if it's true. Here http://it.groups.yahoo.com/group/holostereoitalia/files/More3D/ you can find their stereo-setup, featuring 2 DLP projectors, running a VRML file in stereo. Giorgio. |

Gorgio: For dual output passive stereo the genlocking is not 100% nessery becouse the human brain serve in this sutuation as frame buffer and compansate the time desync (with could be up to 1/30 s) ... Genlocking is absolutly nessery for multiple projector active stereo (CAVE device, large panormatic projection) ... |
