What are these glasses having over the orginal SVGA glasses? I read the article i-glasses.com had but didn't see any new features, did I miss something? I think they are $500 more the their
older pair! This isn't the case like the X2 which added better RES then their old glasses..

The standard i-glasses SVGA use LCD's with a 50:1 contrast ratio.
The i-glasses SVGA PRO utilize LCD's with 100:1 contrast ratio.

Ross, everywhere I see info on SVGA glasses, it already states that they are 100:1 contrast ratio, so why are you saying they are 50:1.
I'd really like to know what the $500 bucks more is for?

tnx

I have also been told that the Pro will not wash out in bright daylight where the Standard SVGA will.

I have to say that this a very well built headset. It has a metal shell and nice view. A little heavy in the front but does level out if you adjust the band just right. It doesn't have the cheap plastic feel the Z800 has. I did not notice a larger screen size in the Z800 both were the same size. The i-glasses was much clearer on the edges as well.

I've had the i-glaases & cy-visor, visor was clearer but both were nothing to write a review on... No reason to talk about the i-glaases in truth!

Ku if you do not like the i-glasses you will not like the Z800. It is a step backwards.

Check out my side-by-side comparison on virtual screen sizes at http://raeldor.blogspot.com.

Noel, why do you say the Z800 is a step backwards? The Z800 has a very nice OLED display and a larger FOV.

Ray because I could not see the larger size. They looked the same and the Z800 had blurry edges. That is why.

OK about blurry edges, but your talking a lower price with tracking! If they clame the FOV is bigger then thats even more of a good reason, Im sure where gonna be stuck with blurry edges unless you can get the lens close to our eyeballs. But im with Ray, I don't see it as a step backwards, maybe now I-glasses can counter back with something better. Ray do some homework and fit them into something more immersive, like A VFX1 helmet or something to that nature, that helmet is still top notch. Of all the people that have posted about these glasses there's only 1 person that has 1? How about the owner of this web site, they didn't offer to give you one to support them in helping them sell.
