Anyone hear of this company? There's an article about them in the current Technology Review magazine (June 2003). Says they're making a flat-screen 3D display. |

Ah, and yet more... http://www.sharkyextreme.com/hardware/reviews/monitors/dti_lcd/ I've seen a few of these types of LCD monitors hitting the market. (Looking into carrying the product on our web site) We'll first see if they're really UP TO PAR! When I find out, I'll let you all know the results. Respectfully, Eric D. Sharp & DTI are both parallax-based systems so they have half-resolution for each eye and a "sweet" spot. The Tech Review article said 3ality was making a flat-panel display with full resolution. Meanwhile, I found their web site. It's www.3ality.com (duh!) and the Tech Review article is there, too, if you didn't see it yet. Also, on their site they claim to be making an autostereoscopic version without a fixed sweet spot. Sounds cool if they can really do it! |

Method of parallax barrier does not allow to look without a fixed spot. Sharp's 3D monitors - it is just eight different fixed "points of the view" |
