So which is better for use with an HMD? The VirtuaTrack or the GyroTrack from VRealities ? And what about that Cymouse ? is that any good ? |

Ok, the Cymouse is a complete DOF head tracker for only $80. LCD shutter glasses can be had for $50. Many people already have a fairly large CRT monitors and good video cards. So, why am I having such a hard time putting together a cheap "desktop VR" or "Fishtank VR" system? The hardware is cheap... but no software to put it all together. Even companies which sell both trackers and shutter glasses don't offer a package that allow you to experience VR. Joe Dunfee |
