It is a method for creating left\right images from one image by (Image Editor) in Microsoft Office (or any other editor with special tools: ruler – rectangular cropping). The method: 1- Copy a rectangular image twice. 2- Use these following steps with one of the new two images: a) Open the image by Image Editor with appropriate size for the screen (You can choose the percentage). b) Click on (ruler) in list of (view). In the same list: you can choose Measurement Units also ( Pixels are preferable). c) From the second toolbar, choose the rectangular icon to determine all the picture except a thin stripe in the left (width of the stripe differs from an image to other according to width of the image). d) Click on right by the mouse to choose (crop) and save the new image. 3- Repeat the same steps with the other image with cutting of a thin strip in the right (instead of left). The ruler will help you to get equal cuts in the two times. Note: for some images, if you intend to make anaglyph image, it is preferable to use (properties) at clicking on right by mouse to change colours of the image to the gray type. |

Nice idea, but you don't get a stereo image this way! It's still flat. |

There are many programs for converting of two left\right images to stereoscopic image. For example, use StereoPhoto Maker. It is in: http://www3.zero.ad.jp/esuto/stphmkr/index_e.htm Did you test any converter to get flat image in the end? |
