I am interested in setting up a stereo projection system. I will be using polarising filters on the projectors, and the viewers will use polarised glasses. I have heard there are stereo out graphics boards. I guess they nust be Nvidia chipped. So I am wondering what is the cheapest board that can do this. Will the stereo out be 2 straight composite video signals and can LCD projectors be polorised? I think lcd flat panels already are so they wouldn't work. Any thoughts on this intriguing problem? |

A passive setup is on my mind too. Except from the price of two projectors the price will go up considerably since you have to have a special kind of screen, silverscreen. Otherwise it's a pretty simple setup. Boards: Nvidia is the best when it comes to 3d, better compability with games I'd say . The cheapest?? don't think that is a good solution since the card delivers two pictures so it has to have some power. I have a Geforce ti4600 and I am happy with that but I guess a slower card would be ok. |
