Here's a link to a recent interview with the Director who discusses the choice to go with anaglyph over polarized, and how he used Jim Cameron's twin digital 3-D rig to shoot Spy Kids 3-D etc... http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/entertainment/movies/6350939.htm |

Saw it this weekend. Better than Jaws3D for sure. Really not bad at all. |

No just that, but the DVD released will be 3D! The only question is: WHICH 3D? |

The release will be on March 4-04 in North America. It will be anaglyph. Paper glasses will be sold with the DVD, however, superior plastic ANACHROME 3D diopter corrected glasses will be sold in thousands of video stores for "Spy Kids 3D" rental. They will be about $3 each, and rugged enough to last for years. 50,000 are on the shelf for early shipping. They give 5 to 7 times better detail on computer or tv with DVD, due to red focus shift correction..really true! |
