Everyone is working on it. If you figure out a good lens let us know. The problem is that you can't just go to walgreens and pick up 3x reading glasses. The focal distance is wrong and you end up w/ just a blurry blob. You would need to probably go to an optician to get a pair made that focus at 13'. |

Would this work if it was taken apart to use? It's a SuperZOOM 20-80x25mm . Magnification power 20-80 power, Objective lens Diameter is 25mm, minimum focus distance is 13ft... Just woundering.. ku |

Check out the PDF here, [direct link] for an interesting way some other guys built their own HMD. Their technique also makes it optical see through, which is nice. Seems like they had fairly extensive resources, however. mm, well, the mr-system website seems to be done right now .. if it doesn't come back up, I can email copies of the PDF. |
