I don't know why I never added this to my "VirtualDub3D" page before now... (bottom of the page: http://www.puppetkites.net/virtualdub3d.htm ) I guess I've never been too convinced that the autostereoscopic displays would find themselves in the hands of the "consumer"... and even though I have yet to try it (just got my first LCD "TV" monitor), I think this works with John B's "autostereo barrier" idea, too. In VirtualDub, the steps are simple, but you need the 3rd party free filter, "UnView Fields" from http://www.geocities.com/siwalters_uk/unviewfields.html You'll have to modify the following steps a bit if you want to use something other than a parallel video as the source. My whole reason for compiling the "VirtualDub3D" page in the first place was to tell people how to view my parallel videos... this was back in the "old days", before Stereoscopic Player and StereoMovie Maker/Player ;-) "Vertically Interleaved for Autostereoscopic Displays" in VirtualDub, with a parallel video as the source: 1) Add the "Rotate" filter and rotate "Left by 90°". 2) Add the "Resize" filter and change it to the size you want (half the height). 3) Add the "UnView Fields" filter. 4) Add the "Rotate" filter and rotate "Right by 90°". -- P.
