A new idea (I think), a suggestion for all the v.r. creators: a v.r. system with sensors all over the body so that body movements can be computed, and, here's the thing: you know the ball under the mouse that detects movement of the mouse...have a giant ball for the v.r. user to walk upon with two vertically mobile bars and a strap around the waist to hold the v.r. user in place. |

The ball technique does not work in praxis ... The ball have to big inertial motion moment witch totaly disturbs the user ... An big ball with almost zero weight will be nessesery |

The ball thing also exists already - though I didn't save the link, but AFAIR it was mentioned somewhere here in the forum or in the news section. It's basically a big hollow sphere, with the user inside, which also acts as a 4-pi projection screen. |
