(i tried to post this yesterday but it woun't let me post under my name???) i have a Bens Lens and i am quit pleased with it. hi Ben its me Ronnie. my son made adjustments on the Bens Lens so my trv900 Sony camcorder would fit.( the anaglyph 3d video i made with a BensLens looks great when viewed on a Plasma or LCD monitor, because you can fine tune the color on these types of monitors, however NO anaglyph 3d looks good on a standard CRT tv monitor) now Ben did not design his lens for video, but, i think he will see it works well for video, if ,adjustments are made to it. thanks Ben keep up the good work!!! |

Hi Ron I am glad things are going well with BensLens. I did not advertise that the unit was capable of making 3d anaglyph movies because I didn`t know whether it would work or not, but thanks to you Ron we know now! The next units will have larger brackets to accomodate a digital movie camera plus photo camera. Please send me an example of one of your 3d movies and I will make a link on my web page so others can have a look as well. Ben. |

Hello Ben, I'm trying to order the lens from your website. I made payment using the PayPal link, but it tells me you are not registered, and my payment is "Unclaimed". All of my emails to your posted address have bounced. How can I get my order through to you? William Carter Minneapolis, Minnesota |

Why would anyone make an anaglyph camera ? Apart from the relatively poor quality and inability to deal with saturated colours, the images cannot be displayed in colour in any other format. Far better to record separate left/right images in some format (side-by-side, above/below, etc.) and use quality, free software to display in absolutely any format including shutter-glasses and anaglyph. |
