"As part of its promotion for the May 21, 2004 release of SHREK 2, DreamWorks will be releasing SHREK 3D, which was part of the Shrek 4-D attraction at Universal Studios, on DVD with the re-release of SHREK on May 11."

As you can see on the cover, the 3d will use some analglyph-format: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0001UZZWW.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

This is imho ok to sell it on the mass-market. But anybody know, if there will be a Field Sequential 3D version included too ?

I am hoping that someone out there will have the answer I am looking for. Shrek 3D is about to be sold on DVD here in New Zealand. Can anyone tell me whether Shrek (the original) is in 3D or is just Shrek 3D. What I am trying to find out is whether the 3D extends to the original Shrek which is being bundled with Shrek 3D. I have the original and don't really want it as I don't need two copies BUT IF the original Shrek which is with the Shrek 3D Version is in 3D, then I definitely want it. Would love to see the first Shrek in 3D - would add a whole new dimension to a really hilarious movie.

Hope someone out there in Movie/DVD land can help me out.

Janine

Here in U.S.A., the Shrek package has two DVDs-- the Shrek movie (in 2-D) on disc, and a 16-minute short on the other DVD in anaglyphic 3-D. Price at Wal-Mart is $16.88 (American), if I remember correctly.

Check out the 3-D photos I took of Walt Disney's apartment at Disneyland: http://www.angelfire.com/realm3/timagineca/walts_apartment/

I was at a Pixar birthday party and learned that not even movie stars are allowed to go in there anymore. Now at least part of it is preserved.

I used an ordinary digital camera and took a shot from both eyes with people in the room, but I'm pleased with how they turned out----all but one that was taken with a flash that wasn't ready.
