I'd like to invite those of you that are interested in anything 3d to visit my website site at http://mimickertrue3d.com to review what I believe is the motion based system that immersive virtual reality has always needed. This is a robotic motion system that will provide motion cues in real time for pennies on the dollar. A new robotic process called "mimicking" replaces the 60 plus years of "simulating" motion. I'm new to this posting place. After reading about the discussions concerning ways to build a good 3D projection or dome projection system I thought I might make some new contacts here with suggestions or questions. I wanted to show you folks this new mechanical approach to providing motion cues in real-time and get some feedback from you as to the experimental idea of an enhanced motorized viewing system designed for it. |

Hahaha, you must be flicking crazy. BTW. How much room space do I need to use one of those designs on your site? |

Hello??? I posted a message over two months ago and all I get is one person telling me I must be crazy? This is the motion system virtual reality has always needed in my opinion. Take a look please and send in your comments. This webboard is about 3D stuff right? http://mimickertrue3d.com |

I forgot to mention that you can find a paper I wrote entittled "Mimicking VS Simulating" in the summer issue of the "Modeling & Simulation Online Journal" The address of the publication is: http://www.msiac.dmso.mil/journal/index.html |

You know, I read the page but I still don't know what it does. (Sorry, I am not trying to be mean) I think it is some kind of 3D motion recording device? |

I read it again... is it a new kind of motion simulator that moves around? (If so, you should kill the graphics that show it being worn like a helmet.) |

No it is not some kind of 3D motion recording device, its a 3D motion system. Consider it a new entertainment venue, a machine that can provide real-time motion cues. The graphics showing a human head inside the cockpit area where a human usually would sit represents the ability of the cockpit to follow the natural path of motion so that the inner ear sensory organ of that human is given the correct information as to its' orientation. The result being the elimination of the onset of motion sickness. Please notice that the animations using the humans head show a turning radius that doesn't change size when the cockpit changes direction and that is what the videos with the human head represent. |

well, but this is nothing really new.. I saw a comparable "lift-like" device in a older nasa documentation some days ago that works only with 3 axis, and I don't really understand why you need that 2 y-axis.. but mabye you should give it a try at halfbakery.com;)) |

I haven't bothered to check back here in a while and now that I have I find another close minded individual leaving a suggestion to visit halfbaked.com. I'm reminded why.... |
