Yep, so don't be in a hurry to buy expensive new glasses, you can play Windowz games with your 3D-SPEX! You can download VRCaddyMe 1.01 from Woobo's website: http://www.woobo.com/kor/software/download/vrcaddyup.htm You can put in anything in the form, but make sure you use an actual email address. They will email you the password for the zip file. You only need to download VRCaddyMe. When you install it, start Win3D (folder is in Pogram Files), and select 3D-SPEX (or whatever glasses you are using) from the list, and set any other options you want. I used 3D-SPEX and they work fine. Then just start VRCaddyMe from the icon, run your game, and hit the Insert key while you're in a 3D part of the game (you have to use hardware Direct3D mode, and I haven't tried OpenGL yet). You should see an interlaced picture; hit Insert again to get page-flipping (best, but slowest), and again to turn stereo off. Also see manual.html in the VRCaddyMe folder for setting stereo options. I can't believe I was about to throw my 3D-SPEX; good thing I found a D3D driver that works with them! |

Solution: go to to your Control Panel, and start the WINx3D applet (if it's not there, you didn't install VRCaddyMe properly). In there are listed a bunch of supported glasses. There are two I-Art Eye3D options, try both to see which one works for you. Use test button to see if it works (usually only one of the tests will work, depending on your hardware). By the way, if you have Eye3d 4-in-1, doesn't it already come with drivers? Why would you need VRCaddy?! |

For anyone interested VR Caddy isn't necessary if you have the Eye3d 4-in-1 or Eye3d premium. Chris 3-Qubed |

Hey... it is said that I can do 3d even without drivers, but when I try and put it in sync doubling I get a distorted image.. like if its overdrawn above. How can I use 3d without drivers on games like flight simulator and other d3d games.... I mean there is supposedly a 3d view without drivers, isn't there? |

Unless the 3D program has integral support for shutterglasses, and most do not, you do need drivers. The Eye3D drivers should work fine for most D3D games, I think. I only posted about VRCaddy for those who don't have drivers, because it's pretty hard finding a full version to download ;-) |

You do can get 3D without any drivers or any integral support for shutter-glasses. There is a kink of monitor in the market at Beijing, China. ADI monitor. It have a option in the On Screen Display menu,to toggle 3D mode on/off, without any dirvers or others. You can get a glasses with the monitor. I don't kown if othre country market have this monitor. |

Sorry, the Woobo site is being reorganized and the download is not currently available. If you really can't wait until they put it up again, email me and I can send it. |

Sorry, Internet child, but this is an extreme violation of both copyright, and the integrity of stereophiles. You can't just send out VRCaddy - you can be prosecuted for software piracy. Since my company - the Win3D company - has an involvement with VRCaddy, we would gladly persue you for your illicit actions. I am pretty sure that VRStandard and Woobo would also work on prosecuting you, or others, that illegally distribute this work. The absolutely safest measure is to wait until the download site is complete, and then download it from there. |

Of course, I take your threat seriously and thus I will NOT email VRCaddyME or related files, or distribute them in any other way. It certainly wasn't clear to me I was commiting piracy as it was available for download anyway; also I have no intention of violating the integrity of stereophiles. By the way, do you consider my posting of the link to the site also as a copyright violation (note I didn't post a link directly to the file!)? |

Unreal Tournament can do 3D with the help of VRCaddyMe and WINx3D on my Quodra card(patched from GeForce256 SDR), the 3D effect is good, but the speed is very slow, 10-15 FPS in 320x240 resolution. Also, I can see 3D picture by bmpsamp or 3D Pix, the effect is excellent, 120 frames per second refresh rate(60 frames per eye) in 1024x768 resolution. I work hard in the homebrew VGA-PT with DoubleV, almost completely finished. But I have some problems in the switches and the input/output signal cables, I don't understand clearly how to connect them. Anyone can help me? Thanks. B-) |

For Unreal Tournament, are you using OpenGL or Direct3D? D3D is usually faster; also try changing the OpenGL or D3D settings, both in your graphics card control panel and in the game. For example, when I played Hitman, it was horribly slow until I turned off anti-aliasing. |
