That article raises almost as many quesitons as it answers. Is the barrier actually part of the LED? If not then it doesn't really sound any different than existing parallax barrier screens.

Gives hope though.

It only has 18,000 pixels total. That would be less than 160X120. Sounds like a lab project that *might* be a product someday.

It IS starting to happen, though - look at all the glasses and autostereoscopic displays listed in the products section on this board.
