Simple answer...no. ATI does not support stereo 3D. Complex answer...sort of. There are 3rd party apps that can enable 3D on an ATI card but they are hit and miss. Also as a side note there are not really any good HMD's out there yet. I have an I-Glasses 3D and for the most part it gathers dust. The FOV is poor and the image is distanced. There is no sense of immersion. This is common with all affordable HMD's and it just feels like you're looking at a little screen really close rather than a big screen from a distance. Until FOV catches up (probably not until retinal scanning displays) you're almost better off trying to rig some sort of 3D projection setup. Just my advice take it or leave it. |

Would you be willing to sell your 3d glasses? They do stereo right? I just took back the radeon and got a Nvidia 6800gt! Please let me know |

Well, I'm actually working on modding them right now so that I like them. In other words they're not really in a condition to be sold but you can pick up a pair for like $950 new...there are probably others willing to sell. Just post a "Looking for I-glasses 3D" message and see what you can come up with would be my suggestion. |
