We here at zDVD just finished creating a classic field- sequential feature length movie for retail distribution. It is called "The Creeps", directed by 3D pioneer Charlie Band. As you probably know, this was shot in 3D using Cris Condon's Stereovision lenses. When we did the telecine,we went through and cleaned up each frame, and matched both eye views, and came out with an outstanding transfer. This telecine was supervised by John Rupkalvis, who also was on set the shooting of the movie as the Stereoscopic Consultant. The company distributing the movie has a website set up if you want more info. www.3dforyourtv.com I think this is a landmark event for all enthusiasts of 3D and can be the first steps toward bringing 3D into the main stream of entertainment for the home. Clips from the disc will also be screened at the SD&A Conference on Monday Jan 17th. www.stereoscopic.org |

This is pretty darn good. The framing is a little narrow for some scenes, but it's clean and sharp and well-registered. Now if we could just get some more movies treated this well! |

The movie was ok at best. The sides of the original filming are cut off. |

I would realy like to have non-iterlaced full NTSC (or higer) per eye resolution version for computer based playback ... I expect the original movie was scaned at 24 fps in progressive mode with full per eye resolution ... Why not to relese a sepcial version with resolution not reduced by the interlaced NTSC restriction ? |

I had just seen the DVD ... Quality of the transfer from fil to the DVD is perfect ... Quality of the stereo effects is nice as well ... But the story of the movie is a bit naive ... |

Hi, just surfed in. I enjoyed looking around your web site. This site has been very useful to me so far and I have barely scrathed the surface of it. |
