PRESSE RELEASE VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE creates 3D-Premiere for Infitec-Technology The Munich based 3D-Company VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE has produced a four minute 3D-Image film for the German subsidiary of the pharmaceutical company Wyeth. The movie was successfully shown to 120 employees at the launch of the 2005 campaign for Trevilor retard. The technical challenge was to implement the Infitec-technology to the projection of 3D-movies. So far this technology had only been implemented to visualise 3D computer generated objects, e.g. CAD-objects. VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE has chosen this technology because costly and fragile silver-screens, as requires for conventional 3D-polarisation-projection (as in most IMAX-theatres), are unnecessary. The excellent colour results and additional freedom of head movement allow the spectator to slide even deeper into the virtual reality. About VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE The Munich based 3D-Company VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE is specialised in stereoscopic-3D-film production. A specially developed set of production tools allows to deliver the whole range of 3D-films, 3D-animation and 3D-graphics. The proven screening formats range from IMAX-screens via fair presentation to computer screens or TV-sets. Moreover the capacity to shoot real-life movies completes the companie's 3D-expertise. For the fictional movie Cyberheidi 3D has been awarded the first price at the International Festival for Cinema and Technology in New York, 2003.
