Hi folks, I have got a sanyo PLV-Z2 Home cinema projector, native 1280 x 720 resolution, it has a DVI, composite, RGB component, and s video connections. I also have a progrssive scan dvd player and dvd surround sound system 5.1 channel sound I also have a PC that i can connect to my projector which has a dvi out, and vga out from the graphics card. I also have those very old 3D glasses, the elsa 3D revelator glasses which use page flipping, and they are wireless, i also have the very old cyber visor 3D which uses sync doubling. Now what do i need in order to play PC games in stereo 3D on my projector? and what do i need to play 3D stereo movies on my projector? I am also thinking of buying a sensio 3D video processor would that work with my projector, has anybody got any epxerience on this? If you could answer those 3 questions, i would be very grateful. Thank you very much |

Your projector is an LCD one not suitable for any stereoscopic projection. So forget it, or buy one more + special projection screen and use passive projection .... |

What do you mean? I have read that Stereo is possible on all kinds of projectors, even sensio 3d say there projector is made for LCD projectors but it can also be used on DLP aswell, As LCD works with sensio then i am sure you can get normal stereo through a LCD projector. |

Just use Peter wimmer's Stereoscopic Player on your PC connect your projector through VGA and watch 3d in anaglyph format. Cheapest way out. buy an anaglyph dvd like spykids3d to get a couple of anaglyph glasses. |

You wrote: I have read that Stereo is possible on all kinds of projectors, even sensio 3d say there projector is made for LCD projectors but it can also be used on DLP aswell, As LCD works with sensio then i am sure you can get normal stereo through a LCD projector. What they write is simply incorrect. You can not gen any good stereo from normal single projector. You will get very low quality very hi flickereing stereo from some DLP projectors, not acceptabe by serious users ... LCD projectors switch images so slow that the quality will be horrible low as well ... The only one single projector system realy working are Christie Mirage one (price abput $20 000). Try yoursel. Maybe you will tell it works, but only because you had never seen a good system. |

P.S. I do not count anaglyph as acceptable stereo visualisation method ... Anaglyh will work with some problems on most projectors ... |

I don't understand exactly what you guys mean. Sensio created there 3D video processor from the ground up to display their own 3D format movies on only 1 LCD projector, stereo cannot be done with 2 projectors with the Sensio processor. From all the reviews they say the sensio 3D truly creates an experience of having the IMAX theatre in your own home. Is this true? but what i really mean is, does it work? So how come i need a Christie Mirage to really experince what 3D has to offer when Sensio can do it for 3000 US Dollars? If i was to use analygalph glasses and watch spy kids 3D on a single LCD projector would i experience the movie pop in front of my eyes and beyond the projection screen? |

dvdbunnyhop: The resolution of the DVD in Sensio format is aprocimately 100 times lower than the IMAX resolution ... (at least 4000x2500 pixels per eye in comariaon to aprox 360x480 in Sensio format So the quality can not be even close to IMAX in principle ... But this is not so bad .. I had visited several serious stereo related HW presentation (SD&A conference an other)- Sensio was never presenting theyr HW on such meeting ... This sound a bit strange ... I do not belive Sensio people are projector manufactures - you can not turn a non-stereoscopic projector into an stereoscopic one by external "Seniso procesor". If you have $3000 availabe, simply forget Sensio, buy 2x1024x768 DLP pojetros ($1200 one), 1x dual projectors stand ($50 on e-Bay), 1x non-depolarizng screen (&250 on Berezin Stereo or so) and you will get a passive stereo setup with following benefits: 1) 4 x higer res than Sensio (1024x768 in comaprion to 360x480) 2) Light weight passive galsses 3) Compatiblity with both games and video |

Check out the new DLP projector running at 120hz. This is quite cheap at 3500USD. What do you all think? http://www.depthq.com/ |
