biosylum, who posts on another active forum suggested raising our profile with Nvidia as well. As Nvidia have their own forums its likely they will be active there more than anywhere else. This could help push driver releases and the solving of technical issues directly - but of course we need people to "make some noise". To help generate this I set up a thread asking for a separate Stereo3d drivers forum. Please support. http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showforum=33 Hey guys you have an excellent USP in the form of supporting stereo3d games and essentially VR. Why do you not make more of this? You have the installed user base, you have the drivers (cough, cough - a little dated now I'll admit) and they work with edims glasses, some dlp projectors, dual projectors, HMDs...etc Why not get the message to the masses - your installed userbase? 3d gaming can be just that - immersive 3d. Not just 3d rendered on a 2d screen and not a screen limited to 17inch diagnal either, I play on a 100inch in full stereo3d...After all dlp projectors are no more expensive now than 21 inch CRTs were 3 years ago and with emagins new OLED based HMD coming soon... You guys have so much more to offer than 5fps more in a game. Make use of it. Give the 3d folks a voice here, we'll create enough noise to convince people to at least give 3d gaming a try. Once people see how really good it is then ATI really have bery little to offer. Unclebob |
