Seoul Systems Co., Ltd developed realtime 2d-3d conversion software, 3Dplus, which is the world-first and patent pending software which converts general VCD(MPEG1) file into 3D content.
User just installs this software in his PC and puts VCD in his CD-rom and puts on shutter glasses. And then he can enjoy any kinds of 3D movies!!

If you have interested in dealing with this software with your business, please contact us.

Can we have a demo?

How does it work?

Is it about delaying the images for one eye - thus creating a pulfrich-like effect? I think the ASUS player does something like that already...

where everything sort of sinks back into the frame background? is this
real volumetritc stereoscopic 3d from a 2d sorce? Sanyo had a 2d-3d
system but it was a poor quaility 3d psudo effect. not real 3d at all.
explain thanks

Thank you for your interest.
I've seen many softwares which make everything sink from the monitor.
As you said, it's not a real 3D and just a trick confusing people.
Our technology really converts 2D movie into 3D. This means that our core engine extracts various motion factors from MPEG 1 file and calculates relative distances of objects in realtime. This generates real 3D in which something shows out of the monitor and something sinks in the monitor.
This calculation need a little bit much of CPU load but there's no problem in PentiumIII 500MH+ CPU.
Isn't it great? We plan to support MPEG 2 format for DVD and DTV soon (however this version would need higher level of PC quality.)

This technology could be a really inovative thing in 3D history for mass market, I think.

If you have an idea for marketing this product or you have any information about market size based on shutter glasses and MPEG 1 (VCD), please let me know. And if you have any collaborative way for win-win success, let's discuss it asap.

Theres a review of this type of software (if not the very same software) in the news section quite a bit back, this 2D-3D stuff really DOES NOT work well at all.

Hi,
I tried the demo but I am not sure if it works with my asus deluxe 7700 using the latest drivers. When I press the 3d button or the screen test, all I see is two images of same thing. One image is above and one is below. Will the demo work with the asus video card?

Dear Tom,
The glasses seem to be not compatible.
3Dplus can be tested with Sync-doubling glasses like eye3D 4-in-1, H3D/Terminator Universal, and etc.

Hi,
Can I make the asus glasses work by changing the asus drivers to another driver? What other tnt2 drivers would be recommended?

Thanks,
Tom Zerquera

The ASUS glasses are not compatible with the above-below format. I'm not aware of any software/driver to fix this.

In theory a driver like WINx3D could be enhanced to do the trick, but I don't think the current version does.

A version of 3dplus which is compatible with the ASUS glasses is planned for later this year.

I downloaded the demo software, and using I-O display glasses (H3D) on an AMD900 with GF2GTS, the software is pretty good, yes it seems when there is motion across the screen the depth perception improves. Is it perfect?, not quite, but definitely worth the download, and if the registration price is reasonable I would buy it. Which leads me to ask of JHKim what is the registration fee? and when will the site be back up? Do you have 2D to 3D image (jpg, etc.) software also? One area of improvement I would add is the stereo effect, I assume monitor distance should affect this, but a slider (NVidia stereo driver) to adjust the stereo effect would be simpler. Nice Job SSC! Keep going.

I just got my new I-Glasses 3D, that work with Soft4D BTW, I was impressed at the demo mpg. But the Demo MPG is just that, its a 360 horizontal scroll around some lizards, the horizontal movement is constant and it rotates smoothly which basically is exactly what the software needs to produce 3D. I tried some of my own MPEG movies and was greatly disappointed. Unless there was significant horizontal movement there was NO 3D at all. Pretty pathetic, and marries nicely with the review made by Chris Bunger of an earlier 2D-3D software on the news page a while back.

If this was freebie software, well then ok I might would play with it more, but its not and does not fulfill its claim to me.
