Soon as they start taking orders... I'm there!! I also read on the Gamespot website that they are hoping to have a 1280x1024 version out next year. Hopefully with an even wider FOV. I guess that depends on how well these units sell! |

http://hardware.gamespot.com/Story-ST-17599-1992-x-x-x I think 800x600 is a safe bet, as the panels will be affordable enough to eventually put in other consumer electronics.. But with a 1280x1024 panel, it would only have a place in hmd's. So if the z800 does well i see no reason why they wouldn't bring out a higher res version.. conveniently around the time ps3 is released, although the ps3 will output 1080p I'd still prefer 16:9 even if it was lower res. Anyone guess as to what FOV a 10x7, 12x10 hmd would have?? |

Where did you get that price from, BOPrey? Do you have any more information, esp. FOV? |
