I hve a pair of 3d spex by NuVision. Anybody know how to get the glasses to shutter without being hooked up to a computer or card? I'm looking to rig a slide projection system with these glasses. |

Those shutter glasses are useful only for viewing rapidly cycling left eye/right eye stereoscopic images. How do you plan to get a "slide projection system" to perform the required high-frequency image cycling without feeding it video input from a computer or similar image source? |

i was planning on having two projectors projecting through a left and right LCD taken from another pair of 3d Spex. Hopefully this will eliminate the ghosting effect I'm getting with my polarized setup. |

Matt: I do not see any reason why this setup can eliminate ghosting. The key compnonet reponsibel for ghosting is the screen material. I suggest to you to work with normal polarized projection and invest in good screen .... |

The ghosting is still present even with a high quality screen. Also, there is a feeling like I'm looking through a veil with polarized projection. I'm confident that I can achieve higher quality from using an active-glasses setup. |

Havent been here for a while. I did fix the ghosting and non refresh related flickering with some circuitry, with DLP projector. http://forums.stereovision.net/viewtopic.php?topic=2302&forum=1&71 The picture is Big, higher quality than an HMD (depending mostly on your projector), no ghosting. Might be useful to you. |
