I hve a pair of 3d spex by NuVision. Anybody know how to get the glasses to shutter without being hooked up to a computer or card? I'm looking to rig a slide projection system with these glasses.

Those shutter glasses are useful only for viewing rapidly cycling left eye/right eye stereoscopic images.

How do you plan to get a "slide projection system" to perform the required high-frequency image cycling without feeding it video input from a computer or similar image source?

i was planning on having two projectors projecting through a left and right LCD taken from another pair of 3d Spex. Hopefully this will eliminate the ghosting effect I'm getting with my polarized setup.

Matt: I do not see any reason why this setup can eliminate ghosting. The key compnonet reponsibel for ghosting is the screen material. I suggest to you to work with normal polarized projection and invest in good screen ....

The ghosting is still present even with a high quality screen. Also, there is a feeling like I'm looking through a veil with polarized projection. I'm confident that I can achieve higher quality from using an active-glasses setup.

Havent been here for a while.

I did fix the ghosting and non refresh related flickering with some circuitry, with DLP projector.

The picture is Big, higher quality than an HMD (depending mostly on your projector), no ghosting.

Might be useful to you.
