Hi, I'm Jeff at VR Standard. We just released the new VRCaddyPro which supports "full resolution" page flipping support.(3Dfx card is also supported). Visit www.vrcaddy.com for more information. There is a free upgrade to full version VRCaddyMe users. Also, trial version is available. I want to thank David C. Qualman(Win3D company) for helping us with this(and always) release. I also want to thank many people who waited patiently and encouraged me. Enjoy ! |

Hey, it's beautiful. I've waited for a long time, and I am very glad that VR Standard kept promise to upgrade. |

I am using a Voodoo3 and the I-art 3D PCI glasses. I have currently installed the trial version of VrcaddyPro and I have a problem. When I activate 3D mode during a game, most of the time I have to try few times before it works. If it doesn't work the screen will be like only one side is displayed. For your info I have uninstalled the Wicked3D drivers. |

Hi, Gary It's the known problem. Sometimes VRCaddyPro can't get the page flipping lock on 3dfx card. You need to press 3D On/Off key for a few times. It depends on games. In some games, this does not happen. Once it gets the lock, it's really stable. Actually, it uses 3dfx H/W page flipping capability. I have no idea how to fix it at the moment. I hope you don't hate VRCaddyPro for a few more stoke of keyboard, do you? |

Hi, Jeff Thanks for your reply. Nope, I do not 'hate' VRCaddyPro just for that but it can get a bit irritating at times because certain games like Rogue Squadron kicks back to 2D mode everytime there is a cut scene. Because of that I have to keep on trying to activate 3D mode numerous times and in the process I miss a lot of the 3D action. But you are really doing a Fantastic job getting Page Flipping to work with the Voodoo3. It's certainly much more than what Wicked3d have done or been doing. Your efforts are much appreciated. |

BTW Jeff, Can you guys add a additional hotkey which can expand and enlarge the 3D screen sideways to cover any blank space at both sides of the screen which appears when 3D is activated? |

Hi, Gary Thank you for your understanding. The problem with RogueSquadron can be fixed. 3D off during a game is kind of safety check. WINx3D need to be off before you exit the game. The problem is, we have no idea when the game really exits. There is no special "Exit" function in Direct3D. Only we can do is just put some safety code at some function which can be used for exiting. Anyway.. I will try to fix it. For expanding the 3D screen... Yes.. in some games, no matter how you expand it with monitor control, you still see some cut. I think it's possible to expand it. I didn't do it because it might cause performance hit. Technically, there is pixel copying process to send Left/Right images to stereo buffer. If you change the size during this process, some VGA cards(like TNT, Geforce is OK) show slow down problem. Anyway.. It can be a optional feature. I will try it too. |

Hi Jeff, Thanks for the taking the time to look into these problems, however minor they may be. I hope you can find the time to give us (me at least) some good news in the future. All the best to you and your excellent product. |
