Hi, I recently had to re-install Windows 2000, and the Quadbuffered OpenGL display started to flicker. I discovered that the graphics card was sharing IRQ 9 with everything else. I discovered that this is to do with ACPI. There is more information at http://www.tweakersasylum.com/Guides/ACPI/ACPITweak/00000003.htm I changed the driver as directed and pictures no longer flicker (at least not in 3DCombine). On the other hand OpenGL video playback flickered more! |
