Is there any software that will convert colorcode (yellow and blue) to anaglyph (red and blue)? It seems like a simple thing to do, and it looks like in theory, Stereo movie maker would do it, but it doesn't accept "colorcode" as an input, only as an output. Any thoughts? |

Stereo movie maker considers colorcode as Anaglyph (which it is), but unfortunately, it appears it doesn't separate it very well...I just tried it day before yesterday... |

yeah. I tried it as well. It gives me a grayscale on the left (just like anaglyph) but the right side looks almost the same as the original. It seems like it wouldn't be really difficult to convert the yellow to red and the blue to cyan, but I can't seem to find a program that does it well. Dann |

The left side should be the left view and the right side, if you could filter out the correct ghosts (get the pun? ghosts? hint hint) from the right view, you would be able to create a red/blue anaglyph version. Perhaps Vertual DUB could clean up the right side overlap? |

Yeah. I was thinking of trying virtualdub. I think it would lose a lot of color that way though. I might try it out. I've got a sample video that I downloaded that is in colorcode. I don't have the glasses though. Does colorcode live up to it's claims? (full color, excellent stereo etc) |

i haven't actually watched a color code movie or clip yet, but I've heard it's no big whoop. |

3D Combine does 'Yellow Anaglyph' conversion to any of the standard formats for video. I've never tried it. Try the shareware version and see what you get. |

Colorcode is just a color separation. The différence is that the choosen colors are less agressive for the eyes. I tried the technology but it is not very impressive. Really. But I think, as all anaglyphe systems, the result depends a lot about the screen calibration. Anyway...My old blue and red glasses work better! In addition, I have managed to do the colorcode mix with after effect in five minutes. |
