Hi I needs experts suggestion on concluding the approach for shooting 3d video. I'm thinking two approach (budget limit 400 - 500$) Approach 1: ==================== Use StereoCam adaptor with my existing sony hi8 camcorder to shoot 3d Video and view with LCD shutter glass. Approach 2: ==================== Use two DXG 566V HD camcorder twinned by own setup and manually fire the record buttons to shoot the video and edit using stereomoview maker to create 3d content. Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions on these two approach. I'm not clear in concluding the approach, I feel each has its own advantage and disadvantage. StereoCam advantage ==================== 1. Everything is readymade no need to do any extra work, just attach and shoot. 2. Seems we can have Out of Screen effects, (Not sure how this can be achieved in twin camera) StereoCam Disadvantage ====================== 1. not works with latest mpeg 4 compression, 2. Old camera (hi8) picture clarity issue. twin camera Dxg 566V advantage ================================== 1. Cheapest HD camera for <150 USD each 2. Can set up twin camera in 300 $ 3. Easy to hold and shoot since camera is small twin camera Dxg 566V Dis advantage ================================== 1. Not sure about the video quality of this camera (unable to find by googling, no user review available) 2. Sync issue, need to find a best manual appproach for sync Any body has any thoughts on this, Please share |
