I am using Stereoscopic Player on a PC through a GeForce 8400 videocard. I am watching on a 2007 Samsung 3D Ready DLP TV. At some point, I became unable to view content in 3D. I suspect it is the GeForce software that is preventing the TV from switching to 3D mode because I am not using their 3D Vision glasses...Instead, I am using a 3D emitter plugged directly into the back of the TV and a different brand of shutter glasses. Does anyone know of any solution? It seems that in the past, I could just pull up Stereoscopic Player, set the TV to 3D mode from the remote, and I'd be good to go. Now I see the double image, but it's not in 3D. Now, when I press the 3D mode button on the remote, I get the error message Option Not Available. In other words, the TV doesn't recognize the signal as being 3D when I'm playing a movie through Stereoscopic Player. I can get the TV to recognize a 3D signal only when I am going through the nvidia 3D Vision Glasses setup...but that never completes because I am not using their glasses and the 3D mode becomes unavailable when the 3D Vision setup closes. Any help getting this resolved greatly appreciated! (Message edited by rrrrob on February 06, 2013) |
