Does any one know how the Stereoscopic Player is able to use the nvidia stereo drivers to display seperate left and right images? I looked at the Nvidia SDK, and it does give you information about the current settings for seperation and convergence, but what does that mean (how can this be translated in to where to place the left and right images) and will this be reliable in the future? Or is there another way to get the drivers to display seperate left and right images. |

You must request from nVidia a special StereoBLK SDK giving the details. This SDK tells you how to place left and right images into one DirectDraw surface + how to put in this surface a special numerical signature forcing the drivers to display this surface in stereo. Are you an hardcore DirecX specialist with deep knowildge of C++ and DirtectX and COM technology ? If the answer is yes, request from nVidia the StereoBLT SDK (or I or Peter can send it to you, if you have problems with nVidia). |

Can you help me to get the nVidia StereoBLT SDK? I tried to get it from nVidia, but I don't have any trace from them. Thank you in advance. |

Gerrit: Ther is no tutoral for this SDK available. I quess you need to study C++, COM, DirectX, Direct Draw for aprox 2-3 years before you will be abel to do anything useful from thsi code (I taked me aprox 4 years, but I was doing other things in this time as well ) ... In addition when the Vista will come, this know-how will be for no use becosue everything will change ... |
