Saw this on another board: "Hi Everyone, NVIDIA sent me a copy of the 82.12 beta stereo driver today. I don't know if they want it released to the public or not, so I am asking them if it's ok to post it here. So far, it is doing a fantastic job. It's running on my 6800GS - no driver forcing. The Battlefield 2 shadow problem is gone. I'd bet there are a lot of other driver bug corrections too. I recommend sending an Email or customer feedback submission to thank them for their hard work as I know we all apreciate a much needed driver update. Regards, Chopper" From: http://forums.stereovision.net/viewtopic.php?topic=2435&forum=4&1 and http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?s=b3c0c9ee7776671fa6ca9e0b0fecc871&showtopic=11564 |

Hope this driver will also support the new 7900 cards that will be released at the CEBIT, if so then they have another customer! |

Aza: If you (or anyone else reading these forums) decides to try nVidia's beta 82.12, I highly recommend that you save a backup copy of your system's current driver first, so the old driver can be re-installed if necessary. nVidia has a habit of putting out buggy stereo drivers, and then taking its time to fix those bugs. |

I'm the one who posted on the NVIDIA forums. I've been using the driver for a few days now, and it runs reasonably well. Unfortunately, it does not run Klingon Academy more than 10 seconds before rebooting my computer. However, Battlefield 2 gun shadow is gone and it seems pretty stable. Best of all, it runs native on my 6800GS - no driver forcing or faking needed to making things work! Regards, Chopper |

Any additions to the "Stereo Type List"? The 78.01 lists: DDC VGA glasses (IO Display) Dual VGA Output (Dep3D) Horizontal Interleaved (VREX) White line code glasses Blue line code glasses Anaglyph (Red/Blue Glasses) Sharp 3D Display Philips 3D Display Dual VGA with Mirror up/down Planar Mirror left/right Direct 3-Pin DIN VESA Connect Which doesn't include hardware I'm after. Each of the new releases has been adding support. At the moment the IArt panel for LCD isn't listed, and I'm hoping the new driver lists it. |

It doesn´t work for me neither with 82.12 or 84.20 force ware drivers... Stereo3d works okay in test windows and when I start a game but then they hang and I need to reset to boot... |

Does this version work with Oblivion? The seperation between foreground and background objects is not working properly in 78.01. Thanks (Message edited by raeldor on April 06, 2006) |
