I'm trying out a new graphics card, an Asus 6800 512 MB.

My MSI stereo glasses that are driven by a powered pass-thru in the vga cable work fine.

My NUVISION / McNaughton 60GX wireless glasses that use a non powered splitter off the VGA cable are not working. The IR emitter does not light up.

This is the same wheather I use the cards VGA or DVI output. I know the wireless glasses work on another card. I'm using windows XP MCE and 78.01 dirver / stereo wrappers.

Can anyone speculate as to why the emitter for my wireless glasses does not activate?

Are the MSI glasses shuteringa all the time or only if a stereo image is on the screen (are they DCC driven) ?

Do you use the NSR spliter for NuVision or the small VGA/VGA pass thrugh dongle (from Mac Naughton) ... NuVsion emiter works OK only with spliters supplied by the manufacturer ...

Generlay is sounds to me like not enougth power for the IR emmiter or non functional DCC communication ...

The MSI glasses were shuttering properly when in stereo mode -- I hadn't checked wheather they were on all the time.

When using the NuVision glasses I was using the VGA pass-through cable splitter that came with the glasses and emitter.

A complete uninstall / reinstall took care of it. I have a Asrock 939-SATAII motherboard that uses a ULI chipset. Installing the latest motherboard driver bundle from nVidia for ULi (instead of stand-alone agp driver update form Asrock or ULi) before the 91.31 stereo drivers might have made the difference.

Lots of uninstall - reboot - regclean.exe - reboot - reinstall - reboot ...

Both the NuVision / MacNaugton and the MSI glasses work now.
