hello everybody, I got an FSC AMILO Pi1556 laptop computer (using a nvidia geforce 7600 go graphics card) and I want to use it for 3d-pageflipping, mainly viewing photos and watching movies on a dlp-beamer, not for gaming. I've been watching 3d-content for a long time with my PIV 2,56 GHz desktop computer, graphics card there's a nvidia quadro 980 xgl, that only runs in 4x agb. using that desktop setup, 3d-stereo is PERFECT at 1024x768@120Hz on a CRT! with the new laptop computer, I encounter difficulties. I got me the mtbs3d-drivers 94.24 for graphis card and consumer stereo, but video playback is jerky, even ntsc-interlace-3d does not play without flicker, when I use peter wimmer's STEREOSCOPIC PLAYER. the flickering is always there, even at 800x600@85Hz, what is my dlp-beamers working resolution. together with the desktop computer, the beamer delivers IMO primo 3d-results. weird thing is, masuji suto's STEREOMOVIEPLAYER does play all movies fine on the laptop, without any flickering. does somebody have any experiences with 3d-pageflipping on laptops computers? I'd be glad to exchange results. cheers, edddie |
