Right, I realise that there was a much bigger thread in the general forum that went on for quite some time, but now that we have all these fancy groups, I think it's time to start fresh. Currently in the cheap end of the market there are the Infocus X1, X2 and X3 (due this month) - I am looking for a new projector. I currently have an Infocus LP755, although I've already given up on the idea of running polarised between that and whichever new one I buy on account of the wild difference in their capabilities (though I'll give it a go, just for kicks). So, active stereo on an x-series projector - I realise that I'll probably go blind from the flickering, but it'll have to do .. what's better - the X1 or X2 (ignoring price)? I've seen that both have occasional problems with stereo, but are they the same problems? |

While I would love a DepthQ, it is not on the cheap end of the market; when I said "ignoring price" - I was referring to the price difference between the X1 and X2, sorry for the confusion. |

I would go for the BenQ 6240, better specs, same price more or less. X1 has the faroudja chip I belive( better picture Q) but since the BenQ has higher res I think it will outperform Infocus. That's my belive anyway. |
