I noticed on another thread a few folks have been able to get their X1a to work at higher than 60Hz refresh rates in pageflipping mode. I've had luck at 60 HZ with my X1. Is there any way to go with a higher refresh rate on a regular X1? Any tips?

Matt

the colour wheel spins at 60hz so you should see little benefit.

To get crystal 3d on the X1. (cropped image)

With your desktop set to 800*600

Set stereo to activate by hot keys and set resolution and Hz to be 1024 by 768.

Come out of the stero settings screen.

Then set you desktop to 1024 by 768. Set the projector to native mode. You will now only get the top lefthand 800*600. Adjust the picture using nvidia's driver to centre it. You will loose about 100 pixels all around. Save this screen setting for the 1024*768 resolution.

Go back to 800*600.

Fire up painkiller for instance.

Set the in game resolution for 1024*768.

Play and enable stereo.

Good luck

OK got that to work, very nicley might I add, but there's no way for the X1 to do 75 or 85Hz? Is this the main difference between the X1 and X1a? Thanks.
