Hello,

I have read that the Benq PB3240 works ok at 85 Hz and it has 2700 lumens. But someone has tested or know about the PB8250, it has 3000 lumens (real 2700, guess how much will be the real lumens of PB6240...) and it accepts 100Hz signals (PB6240 accept only up to 85 Hz). Maybe the PB8250 achieves 3dstereo at 100Hz.

And the lumens are idela for rear projection, which is, IMO, the way to go.

Any comments?

Hi
I think, 100 Hz acceptance is only for MAC compatible signals ! (sorry, were good 100Hz)(Have studied many manuals from projectors (pdf from net)) and the PB 6240 hat 100 Hz acceptance for MAC i his manual.
The 2700 (or lower?) ANSI of 6240 is genough for good stereo picture, with good contrast for diagonale cca 3,5m on white wall (refl.ratio cca 1,0) with shutterglasses an pageflip.
The 8250 use the same DLP chip, had DVI input,(6240 no), the price is higher (DVI).
No simple projector purchase?
