OK, so we know there are 3D prints of Monster House out there (http://www.reald.com/), and RealD has a map showing you where theaters are with the right equipment (I knew that already), but NONE of my local theaters are advertising it in 3D. What's the point in making a 3D feature if you don't market the 3D version? |

I pretty sure it has something to do with money. They know people will go to see it, 3D or not. I have a Rave cinema about 60 miles from house and was able to see it in 3D. I emailed Cinemark theaters and learned that they are going digital in the near future, RealD states this on their website now. Keep checking the RealD site and they will probably be announcing openings of more 3D theaters. Probably within the next year, most all theaters will be digital, and where there's digital, there will most likely be 3D. |
