Our company is now entering into the 3D Stereoscopic domain. We would like to buy a video card which can play 2 different sources and play them full screen at the exactly same time (even 10ms is not acceptable I'm afraid) to 2 different outputs (video connectors). Of course I should be able to use third output to control the movie (play/stop/pause and etc.) But this is the main idea. The videos are in 720x576 and can be encoded in MPEG-2 9Mbps MP@ML or QuickTime Uncompressed 27MB/s 10bit 4:2:2. Do you have any idea if I can find such a card which can support my needs (and of course a software to go along with?) Thanks, Lior |

With the DepthQ Server software the nVidia Quadro graphic cards can do this ... They have genlocked ramdac .... We use them for dual output panoramatic active projection = output precesion is on on 0.0001 ms level .... But generlay what you need is impossible to do with 2 diferent sources = you must mix the input in one input file in software before palyback. Send me an E-mail on michal.husak@gali-3d.com with complet description of your problem, please, I am sure we can solve it. (Message edited by husakm on January 17, 2007) |
