I am setting up a polarized projection, I have 2 2000 lumen projectors and filters and glasses and I am looking for a screen on a low budget.
I have a sample from Harkness Hall but this still has quite bad ghosting and I have found that hardboard with silver paint and even paper give the same results.

Does anyone have any suggestions for home made screens?

Thanks

Look, I have ever read (today in fact) that the most efficient silver paint is the "Kodak Ektalite" paint. But Google doesn't give any response to the request...

Anybody knows about that?

Try Hurly "SilverGlo" screens.

I've used Silverfabric with great results (zero ghosting), however, I'm having some problems with the physical properties of the material and "stretch marks" and may be looking for a new screen. Larry, how are the extinction properties of Silverglo? Comparable to Silverfabric? Seems to be a cheap alternative.

I have only tried it on small sections; I am in process of doing a LARGE (20'x 14') screen, so stretch is important. Extinction is excellent on the small samples.

I got my new SilverFabric Screen and I´m very happy with it (zero ghosting)instead of my old Silverglo one.
