I'm not sure how many people know about Masterimage (http://www.masterimage.co.kr/), a company trying to compete with Real D (Disney) and Infitec (Dolby) in the theater market. They have 3 'theater' sized systems (in a very few Asian locations) and two I understand quite well. Download the 'brochure'; they seem competent with the chopper... er filters for 3D projection. They have lots of other goodies too; such as camera things. The third projection system I do not understand; it's an "RGB frequency division" which I thought I understood, sort of like Infitec, but the description and price structure doesn't make sense. Anyone out there know about either A.) the company and technology or B.) their "RGB frequency division"? |
