Hi, I have a few screens of my Virtual Flight Simulator. It is a 3D setup with ED 3D Glasses and a Sharp XR10x-l Projector. The screen is 45" diagonal and it looks almost lifelike in 3D: http://img409.imageshack.us/img409/1893/dscf1181zx0.jpg Hopefully in the Furure this will Grow into a monster ;) |

Hi Hornet, That is Really Cool I bet it looks amazing!! What kind of Plane are you simulating in that Simulator or do you fly a wide range of Planes???? I am trying to get a F22 Pit, with working MFD's as those shots I posted are from Total Air War by DiD. Some Guy says he is going to try to get the MFD's Functional for me but will take about 5 more years to get the Program setup. We do NOT have the Source Code for TAW and probally will never get it. What did you use for Screens?? I used Screen Goo and a piece of like plywood and it turned out real nice. But I had posted in the other 3D Projector thread and I am still not sure about this Projector I have but will do for now?? I am NOT sure if I am running in a high HZ as it says it goes to 85hz but I havnt been successfull. How do you like your BenQ's?? |

I love gliders. Use 2 Benq as active 2048x768 85 Hz setup (With Matrox dual head2Go adapter ), practically minimally flicker (only on bright scenes - no problem) The picture is simple white wall 4x1,8m use Condor soaring simulator software and per UDP output are exported data for simmeters soaring suite software for instruments (on second PC and LCD panel). The PDA with GPS simulation is too working (NMEA output of Condor). From physics sight is this sim on high level. The graphics is too very nice. My benq working problemless on 85 hz, I love this projector. (2700 ANSI - enough for shutterglasses) |
