Ive been doing hours and hours of research of the new projectors out there and some forums, and gotten more confused with other peoples reviews. I really would like a 120hz projector, many people have had issues with viewsonic projectors and not sure if nvidia has updated drivers that fixed all those issues, nobodys writing about them, only problems. The Benq projectors are all rated 85hz according to specs (not sure why people are listing them as 120hz) and not even Nvidia Certified, Optoma HD66 3D-Projector is what I have my eye on since its 720p, but its not certified so no drivers for it (Nvidia vision) But I have the E-Dimensional glasses, and want to use a good tested 120hz projector. Has anyone tested that out without having to upgrade to the Vision Drivers? or should I just stick with older 85hz projector? Is the immersion the same or much more immersive with the new 120hz Vision glasses Vs. Edimensional on 120hz? I wonder if the HD66 will be able to be utilized 120hz just like CRT monitors, and work like the older models at 85hz but in 120hz without the Nvision upgrades. I would get the Acer but the model doesnt sell in the US! Someone please let me know your experience what you would recomend that has already been tested. Thank you! | ||

I guess nobody knows.. i'll just pull the trigger and buy the HD66 and cross my fingers! Wish me luck. | ||

Ouch - I had no idea there were projector issues. I was about to pick one up - glad I didn't. So does anyone know which projectors work? |
