What do you guys think is the best?: Projector (X3 or Benq6420) Emagin Z800 | ||

Hi, I have long considered before my purchase and have purchased benq PB 6240. The factors for this considering : No flicker (all 3 possible items) Great view angle-for simulators up 70 deg(projectors yes, Z 800 no) Resolution XGA (1024x768) (projectors yes,Z800 no) Also z800 no good for my (greater viey angle and resolution. Benq had 2700 ANSI -very good light power for big 3D stereo picture with shutterglasses.Yesterday a have "flying" in FS 2004 and eco mode with 2200 ANSI is usable, only 2700 ANSI full power is totally OK.And I have the possibility of testing of benq before purchase. Lamps for benq are expensive... This is my real story... :-) | ||

Too bad you haven't tried the Z800, I asume you haven't. Would be nice to hear your opinion about that. How much is a lamp from Benq? | ||

Lamp for benq PB 6240 cca 270-300 EUR. The other lamps are also no cheap... I wainting for good VR head mounted 3d stereo display (field of view above 60 deg and minimally XGA 1024x768 resolution and good optics and headtracker) -this is my dream. I think this come in 3-4 years. The qestion is price of this unit.For this time the projector had better price/benefit ratio. |
