I just got my first pair of 3D LCD shutterglasses and got them to work - no problem.

What is a problem for me is the darkness of the lenses. I'm guessing that the 'clear' lens reduces the picture light by about 40%.

Are there any shutterglasses with a true clear state?

Or does anyone know which brand of shutterglasses has the clearest lenses?

Does anyone know of any other workarounds for this problem?

Thanks ... ron

No
principial is the light loss more than 50% (only 50% of time is light of picture in one eye).
Possible compensation = overadjustment of brightnes on CRTmonitors, or good high ANSI DLP projector (more than 2500 ANSI).From my sight the e-dimensional glasses price /benefit ratio is high.
