hey all, have been a stereo "convert" since the vfx1 and comanche3 back in 96 so was excited by the specs of the VR920 and price.

Im sure others on this forum have this HMD so i would be interested in knowing what you have going so far and your experiences.. for me the following:

- Had to install XP (was using vista) to get stereo drivers. using beta 160.02 i think. Would be nice if nvidia had vista stereo3d. im using a 7950GX2 (SLI on a single card)
- IL2 Sturmovik 1946 is the game i am most interested in, stereoscopic view is excellent but cant seem to get the tracking to work even though the imonitor says its installed.
- Second Life tracks fine but well.. its not really my thing
- EECH2 seems like an ideal candidate for tracking on the VR920 as it has cockpit "mouse look"

Its not the type of device i would want to use for very long indepth games mainly due to resolution but also I have noticed some colour banding even when in 640x480.

The price is excellent and the small design is great. Field of view could be better but for the price its ok especially considering you get head tracking and stereo3d in such a nice cheap small package.

Now that you mention color banding: is there any difference from playing in native 640*480 and playing at a higher resolution, downscaled to 640*480?
