They are all over circuit city/best buy, the new line of LCD tv's are doing 120 Hz. I'm not talking about anything specific. Just wondered if anyone had any experience with them. |

How about an LG 42lg60, it has 1080p, and also 120hz. with a 2.7ms response time. http://us.lge.com/products/model/detail/tv|audio|video_lcd%20flat%20panel__42LG60.jhtml I really want to think shutterglasses would work with this. (Message edited by eth777 on August 25, 2008) |

No, it wouldn't. 1st, it's 120Hz is an extrapolation of the incoming 24/30/60Hz signal. So you'd be stuck doing the usual 30Hz/eye flickery crap. 2nd, you have no way of knowing the exact delay in processing (might be ok if it ended up being exactly 1 or 2 or 3 frames, but not likely as it wasn't designed with that in mind).
