Hi, i found some old asus vr-100 shutter glasses. But i couldn't find the controller. Now, there comes a mini-jack cable out of the glasses, i read on the internet that they use 12-volts. What's the easiest way to get these glasses connected to my pc? I have a compatible monitor but a radeon hd4870 graphics card, so i don't really have any output for shutter glasses. I read some old pages about vga-passthrough controllers, how well do these work? |

They work great, Andreas Shulz had the best one, and it was easy to make. I can't find the schematics online anymore though. He might be lurking somewhere on these boards to ask though. |

I think this one is also quite easy to build, maybe just take a look: http://www.stereo3d.com/vgapt.htm The schumann adapter can be seen here: http://web.archive.org/web/20030402182255/http://www.die-schuhmanns.de/stereo3d/stereo3d.htm I have uploaded the fischer adapter circuit here: http://www.tankraider.com/userup/1276298632.zip (Message edited by fronzel on June 10, 2010) |
