Just doing my e-bay searches and found http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6447981593&fromMakeTrack=true It claims to be a licenced "DVD quality" DVD set with 32 IMAX films in 3D, with 'cardboard' (anaglyph?) glasses from China. With shipping they are about $100 US, but if they really are decent 3D versions, even in anaglyph... Anyone know who the Chineese vendor of the original DVDs is? |

Interesting. These films were all filmed and released in IMAX and other large format theaters in 2D. |

Larry -- Go to this website (www.babelfish.altavista.com/tr), paste the Taiwanese URL into its menu, and it will convert the Chinese into understandable English. It works, I tried it. |

They aren't even conversions. I got this reply from the seller; " Hi, They are actual prints of the 3D IMAX films. The 3D glasses is black/white. But then I be messaged from other client that the quality of 3D were not good. Thanks a lot for your inquiry Julie " It sounds like they throw in a set of Pufrich glasses, and hope you think you are seeing 3D. If you really like Imax, they might be OK without using any kind of glasses on them, but they are just 2D movies. |

Probably Pulfrich...(IMHO, **NOT** 3D, but psuedo-3D). Scott |

Not Pulfrich, the glasses "make" some kind of ghost, that some times lokes 3d, but is not the efect is the same in any other movie. the glasses have some kind of layers of chromadepth ( but not igual) |
