Hello, Detlef Krause from Cinovent (http://www.cinovent.de) allowed me to make his 3D movie "UNESCO World Heritage: Upper Middle Rhine Valley" available for download. It was shot in 1080p using two Sony HDW 750 cameras. The duration is about 19 minutes. The downloadable version is encoded in 2x576p format (1440 x 576 pixel) using the VC-1 Advanced Profile codec. If you don't have Windows Media Player 11 installed, you'll have to open the file once in the (old) Media Player so that the codec will be installed. This works in Windows XP only, older operating systems are not supported. The file uses Digital Rights Management. Consequently, you need an Internet connection when you open the file the first time to acquire the license (which is free, of course). In addition, the latest version 0.9.9 of Stereoscopic Player is required (http://www.3dtv.at/Downloads/StereoscopicPlayer099_en.msi). Please use a download manager which supports resuming donwloads. You won't be able to download the file without download manager! Finally, here is the link: http://www.3dtv.at/Movies/RhineValley576p.zip (822 MB). Thanks very much to Detlef for sharing this great movie! Peter (Message edited by Peter Wimmer on May 29, 2006) |

Try to upgrade to Windows Media Player 10 or 11, if you don't have it installed. I think the older versions don't support DRM 10... |
