Anyone seen the 3D version? I'd like to hear an opinion. The few reviews I've read have been positive. |

I saw it the opening weekend. I'd not seen the original release except for a few bits on late night TV I'd flipped past. I thought the movie was fun and the 3D was the best of it's kind technically. The glasses for the Disney Digital are different: less light loss in the lenses, zero heavy red/blue distraction. I was quite pleasantly suprised. Here's some lucky dog that got to interview Tim Burton: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/30438 I found this short interview with the producer responsible for the 3D version: http://www.digitalproducer.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=70164 He says that Chicken Little 3D was the first movie to use this 3D system. I'd search for something more historical for technical details about 'Disney Digital 3D' under Chicken Little. |

I saw Chicken Little and Monster House in 3D, and I plan to see this one also, I just hate that the nearest 3D theater is about 60 miles away. I imagine within a year there will be one within 20 miles. |
